What makes a Hot Mamma? Positive energy, inner beauty (and let’s face it- when someone has inner beauty, they also have outer beauty), someone who balances life well, and no matter what life throws at them- they see the glass half full. Our Hot Mamma’s are working moms who “have it all”- family, career and happiness. And in true OCMAMMA style- our Hot Mamma’s are also…HOT.
Our hope is that you pat our Hot Mamma’s on the back for being able to juggle it all (with a smile on their face), and when possible- support their businesses. Lou’s Kustoms sells handcrafted, one-of-a-kind belt buckles for men. Also, both lines will soon be coming out with items for juniors and children!
Fairlane Exhibit Co. designs, builds and installs custom trade show displays, retail fixtures and event properties, and it provides complete management and services for trade shows and special events.
How does your business help other moms and/or kids? I have been collecting vintage stuff for as long as I can remember, and I just started creating accessories with vintage pieces as a hobby a couple of years ago. Well, that hobby turned into a successful business, and I love running the business and designing the pieces. Hopefully, that will inspire other moms to follow their passions and turn them into productive undertakings.
How do you balance work and kids? I coach myself all day long that I can do it! And, I keep busy from the minute I wake up until the moment I go to bed at night. Lastly, if you’ve got kids and work and personal stuff to take care of, you’ve got to stay really organized, which I try to do.
What is your favorite activity with your kiddo? I love being involved with my kids’ sporting activities and taking them on vacations at different locations throughout theUS
What is one piece of advice that you could share with other moms? When you say that you’re going to do something, do it. Follow through is so important.
